Full Description

Cremation burial.
Found in digging foundation trench, several feet below the surface in clayey soil (S1).
One large narrow mouthed cordoned jar, form as Camulodunum 232, presumably contained the cremated human bone found associated. One small vessel with sagging base, probably lid. Also a fragment of a pedestal base. All Belgic in fabric and form, probably date to first half of C1.
