Pre 1985: Palaeolithic hand-axe of pointed form, in a rolled condition. Found on the surface by owner in his back garden soon after moving in.

Geological context: boulder clay and gravel hill-wash over chalk. South facing slope overlooking East to West valley of the Stour Brook, (S1-S6)
