Full Description

Bronze fibula found at TM 2419 5090, disc brooch found at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Also found - either Roman or later - bronze vessel fragment (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), brooch or buckle pin (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), strap end buckle (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), tweezer fragment(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). All found with a metal detector (S1).
1989: Further finds include coins of C3 & C4, Colchester derivative brooch and various undated metalwork - see (S1) for details.
1996: Area of site extended S to include whole field after 1996 detector rally finds - two coins and model stool (ritual?). Drawing and details in (S2)(S3).
