Full Description

Scattered small coin hoard, comprising 33 bronze coins found metal detecting in and below ploughsoil (S1).
Coins all (except one very worn ? AS ? early C3) Carausius, all early types, i.e. AD 286-289. Main concentration of coins (about 20) found in or over a N-S linear feature; pottery from this feature looks more C2 than later, mainly micaceous grey ware bowl forms.
